The AR-1 Auto Receptionist is a digital call handling and messaging system designed to answer incoming calls with a friendly greeting and then have the choice to connect or listen to disconnect a specific message or the connection. 

Programming functions and message recording can be done locally or remotely via a DTMF telephone. Recording tape, CD, PC, etc., can be loaded locally via the 3.5mm audio jack. Up to 8 different messages can be loaded / recorded with a total recording time of 12 minutes. The messages consist of 1 Day salute, salute one night, 5 menu messages and one bye message. 

The AR-1 has an option to callers with the correct code to bypass and directly to choose the welcome message. It is also possible to automatically connect callers after the entire welcome is heard.
